Experimental base The experiment will be conducted in the Ground-based Experimental Complex (GEC) of SSC RF - IBMP RAS, consisting of 5 hermetical communicating with each other modules, one of which is meant for imitation of performance on the "Martian surface". The total volume of the modules is 550 m3. The modules will contain crewmembers' individual cabins, saloon, working places to carry out biomedical investigations, room to store resources, etc. and will be provided with the audio- and telecommunication systems. The crew will stay in GEC in conditions of artificial atmospheric environment at normal barometrical pressure. A set of life support systems will be placed outside the modules, but in that case an opportunity will be provided of direct or simulated control over them by the crewmembers.
